Up for purchase is this Marantz Professional PMD670 Portable Solid State Recorder that comes with an IBM 1GB Microdrive, Marantz DA600PMDU AC Adapter, Carrying Strap, USB Cable, AA Battery Holder and a copy of the Owner's Manual. Recorder is being sold in As Is Condition for Parts or Repair. The unit shows some wear to the finish but looks good overall. The recorder works when connected to AC via the power adapter. The original Ni-cad battery pack leaked and corroded the battery contacts. I cleaned the exposed outer part of the contacts and installed a AA battery holder but it does not power up when the batteries are installed; my guess it that the corrosion traveled up the wires that are connected to the battery contacts. New wires might solve the issue but I can't be sure. Again, unit works when connected to AC with the power adapter. Purchase price + calculated S/H with US.
